Donald Brown, DVM, DACVIM, Ph.D.

Dr. Donald Brown, DVM

Dr. Donald Brown is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Medicine and is an American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine board-certified veterinary cardiologist. Before relocating to Vermont, Dr. Brown was on the faculty of Tufts University's Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine for more than 16 years. During his time at Tufts, he helped to teach the current generation of veterinarians and trained veterinary specialists in cardiology at one of the busiest clinical practices in the country.

A published authority on echocardiography, Dr. Brown also holds a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering after studying cardiovascular physics and physiology. He is still affiliated with Tufts and continues to provide lectures to veterinarians and specialists on cardiology topics across the country.

Vicki Scheidt, DVM DACVD

Dr. Vicki Scheidt, DVM DACVD

Dr. Vicki Scheidt received her veterinary degree from the University of Missouri's School of Veterinary Medicine and completed a dermatology residency at the University of Pennsylvania's School of Veterinary Medicine. She received her board certification in dermatology in 1984 while at North Carolina State's College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Scheidt moved to New England 20 years ago and has owned Hanover Veterinary Clinic since 1997.

Deborah Kelloway, DVM

Dr. Deborah Kelloway, DVM

Dr. Deborah Kelloway received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. From there she went on to complete a 13 month internship at the Animal Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Kelloway has found ultrasound to be the perfect complement as a diagnostic tool for complicated medical cases. She has more than 15 years of experience with diagnostic ultrasound and performs an average of 1,200 ultrasound scans each year. She is proficient at ultrasound guided biopsies of internal organs, the least invasive means of obtaining tissue samples.

Dave Sobel, DVM

Dr. David Sobel

Dr. Dave Sobel began his veterinary training at the University of Glasgow Veterinary School and received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. He went on to receive advanced training in endosurgery at the New England Medical Center in Boston.

In addition to his clinical duties, Dr. Sobel is currently writing and lecturing on topics of minimally invasive surgery in small animals and acting as a consultant for various veterinary hospitals. He has presented numerous lectures and continuing education courses across the country and in Europe. Recently, Dr. Sobel served as the co- editor and author of the recently published British Small Animal Veterinary Association Manual of Small Animal Endoscopy and Endosurgery. He also served as a reviewer for the Journal of Veterinary Surgery. Dr. Sobel is dedicated to offering the very latest in medical technologies.
